My walks don't show up
- Check that Xipoe may read Apple Health: Settings, Privacy & Security, Health, Xipoe. Turn on Steps, Walking + Running Distance and Workouts.
- A walk is 8 minutes or more at a walking pace. Short strolls round the house don't count.
- Steps typed into the Health app by hand are left out on purpose.
- Open Xipoe once: it reads the latest steps when it opens, and about once an hour in the background.
A bike ride shows up as a walk
Cycling with your phone in a pocket can count as steps. On the screen where you tag walks, tap Not a walk under that walk and it is set aside. You can bring it back from the hidden row under that day's walks.
Health Journal and subscriptions
- Restore a purchase: Settings, Health Journal, Restore.
- Cancel or change a subscription: in the app, Settings, Health Journal, Manage subscription; or on your iPhone, Settings, your name, Subscriptions.
- Refunds are handled by Apple: reportaproblem.apple.com.
- If a subscription ends, everything you logged stays readable. A daily medicine keeps its reminders for 30 more days, with a notice a week before they stop.
A new iPhone
Xipoe keeps everything on your iPhone. With iCloud Backup on, a new iPhone set up from that backup keeps your dogs and walks.
Medical questions
Xipoe keeps the medicine names, times and weights you enter and reminds you at those times. It gives no medical advice. For anything about your dog's health, ask your vet.
